Meermaw and Granddaddy came to visit this weekend. I politely demanded Meermaw get the guitar and banjo out of the closet. :) And we all played together. So much fun!!

Today I started to say my alphabet!! I was playing, mommy and daddy didn't even prompt me. I just started to say the alphabet. I did stop at D and after mommy and daddy got excited, they tried to get me to say E F G, etc. But....I wouldn't go past D. And, that's OK. Mommy and daddy are so proud and excited! :)

Today daddy got a new tool kit and the plastic was attached by screws. When I saw him trying to open it, I just had to help! And, boy was I a good help. I am a pro at that screwdriver now!

Toddler Bed

Look what daddy did to my bed today:

I think it's going to be harder on mommy than me..... :)

I had to play in it while he finished up. I love to lay down and be covered by my blanket. And then cover my stuffed animals. I even pat them on the back while saying "shhhhh."

Time will tell how well I sleep in my new bed....

What's new?

Well, mommy missed the update in November but we're back for December! So the past two months I've started saying complete sentences and I repeat everything! I love DORA, Chuggington, baby dolls, and stuffed animals. In December, mommy and daddy turned my car seat to face forward. I am so much happier in the car now! And the best one: On December 21, I said "I Love You" to daddy for the first time!!! :)

Christmas morning with Granddaddy

One of Meermaw's presents was a Nook (book reader). Granddaddy showed me how to read on it with some children's books. I loved it! I could even change the pages!

Rupert's Christmas

We forgot to give Rupert his stocking last night. (I would say Erma and Rupert, but Erma is not going to play with silly ol' toys....)

He got a catnip toy and some balls. Oh, he loved them! I didn't like sharing with him, though! I kept taking away his toys....

Christmas with the Feltses!

Well, as the afternoon wore on, mommy starting feeling pretty bad. It appears she has come down with the stomach bug.... :( Even though she's sick, we still carried on with the Felts gathering at our house Christmas night. I had a blast!

Kirsten got me a pair of mittens. After trying to put them on myself - which entailed putting one mitten on, getting frustrated I couldn't get the second mitten on, taking the first mitten off and repeating, starting with the opposite hand..... I decided to....

Put them on my feet! :)

No, these cuddly kittens aren't part of my Christmas! These are Meermaw and Granddaddy's kittens. I love them so much!
