Another beautiful day and what better way to spend it then outside!! Mommy had kites at my birthday party yesterday and some of my friends got to fly them, but I ran out of time. I really wanted to fly one, and since it's my birth week - I get what I want! (Right, daddy?!)
While I was flying my kite with Daddy, Evan was swinging with mommy.
Then I took a spin in my new car!!
And last, but not least.... A wagon ride with my brother! I did such a great job holding him and keeping him safe. It was a lot of fun!
Once all my friends arrived (Eli, Jake, Noah, Mia, Makenna, Carly, Nate, Bella, Lachlan, Annabeth, Zane, Lincoln, Fletcher and DJ), we decided to play. There was jumping in my bounce house:
Today is my 3rd BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! And I am sooooo excited!!! I wanted all princess themed party. We had it at the park again and it was a beautiful day!! Daddy made me an awesome Ariel cake - here I am seeing it for the first time:
I tried to blow the candles out...
But ended up needing some help. Daddy helped me do it and then I literally dove into the cake - smashing my face into it. :) After cake, I had to have a cupcake:
So mommy has always said that I am ALL girl.... That I have to pick out my clothes - usually a pretty dress... And I have to pick out my shoes, and love have a big selection to choose from. A girl can never have too many shoes, right? (Mommy is still trying to figure out where I get this from...) :) So, today I wanted to pick out my shoes before daycare, but we didn't have time. When daddy starting rushing me, I started to throw a fit. Daddy wasn't going to put up with that, so he put a pair of shoes on me and mommy took me to daycare. At end of day, mommy picked me up and when we got home, I went straight to my room, changed my shoes and brought mommy the shoes I had worn all day and said "I don't want these shoes!"
So, mommy has been trying to get me to use the potty and I would every now and then, but not all the time. I still wore diapers because I really showed no interest in the potty. Mommy has two potty's my size in the living room and bathroom (Cars and Dora), pretty panties and pull ups and M&M's or tattoo's as a reward if I go....but, I still wasn't really interested. She decided to try the method of "I'll tell her when I'm ready" approach. As my third birthday approached, she was about to give up on her method, when I woke up this morning and asked to wear panties. She wasn't sure how it would go....but, I went all day with NO ACCIDENTS!!!! YYYEEEAAA!!! I think I'm ready to be potty trained!!! And, perhaps I've just done it all by myself...
This year has been very warm and we haven't gotten any snow! :( Until today....it started to snow, but didn't stick. Here I am watching it snow with my baby. It never did stick, so I didn't get to go outside and play in it...
Have I told you lately I still love to play dress up?? Here's one of my dresses from Christmas. It's hard to tell, but this pretty dress has a hoop in the skirt. I love it - and it's so cute. It's really hilarious when I sit down...or try to...
This morning, Evan had his paci in. I walked up to him and said "You want your paci? You don't have a paci party then. You won't get your paci back." :)
So mommy has been asking me for months if I want to have a paci party and throw away my paci's. Pretty much everytime I have a melt down, but this week I was excited and said YES! So, mommy said we'd do it Sunday and it's here! Mommy baked me a cake and wrapped some presents. We even danced!!! I had so much fun!! (Now, will I be OK without my paci's???)
