Day at Grandma's

Today I went to Grandma's to play with Annabeth. We had so much fun. I, ummm, got a little carried away with my crayon (when Grandpa and daddy were suppose to be watching us....) and had my first "wall art" project. Apparently, I'm not suppose to color the walls, but I thought it looked fabulous! :)

Carrying baby Evan

I wanted a toy and daddy said he'd get it if I held baby Evan....I took the challenge on! And I think I did great, if I do say so myself! :)

Nap time

with Annabeth!! :)  After a fun day of playing, we took a nap together! Can you believe mommy let us?!

What does mommy say?

So, daddy has taught me the answers to the following questions:

Daddy: What does Rupert say?
Me: "Meow"
Daddy: What does Erma say?
Me: "Hisssss"
Daddy: What does daddy say?
Me: "I love you!"
Daddy: What does mommy say?
Me: "Blah Blah Blah"

So, this is all fun and silly until it backfires on the parents, right?!  Well, here goes the rest of the story.  So today I walked into the kitchen where mommy was and asked for candy.  She said, "no, it's too late."  A few minutes later daddy comes into the kitchen, so I decide to hit him up.  I ask him for some candy.  He says, "not until after dinner."  Mommy turns around and looks at me and says, "now Kayla, what did mommy say?" I look at her, and I'm completely serious, thinking I have the answer....and say, "Blah Blah Blah." Mommy, holding back the roaring laughter, says, "no, I said it's too late for candy." Then mommy and daddy started laughing, they couldn't hold back anymore. I still don't know what was so funny! I heard mommy tell daddy we may have to stop that little game...whatever that means... :)

Adventure Science Center

Today, mommy, daddy, Evan and I went to the Adventure Science Center with Sean, Laine and Jake.  They had free passes, so we had to take them up on the offer. Mommy never says no to free! :)  We had so much fun seeing all the exhibits. Daddy especially liked the backhoe....I was a bit scared of it...

Of course, I had to play with the PVC pipes too...Just for daddy!

Williamson County Fair

Today, mommy, daddy, Evan and I went to the fair. We had so much fun!!

First we road in a stage coach:

Then we played in the face puppets:

Then we went outside and saw all the farm animals.  And then went to the rides.  I got to ride Nemo!!

It may not look like it (I have my daddy's "excited" face...), I had a blast and wanted to ride Nemo over and over. I talked about it forever afterwards!

Baby Evan

I love to help mommy with baby Evan. I rock him if he's in his swing or chair and I bring him his paci. He is so grateful to have me around! :)

Doing my hair...all by myself!

First, I gather it together.

Then I get my hair tie

Then I wrap the tie around.

Then it falls out, and I get a pinch frustrated....

Camera time

I found daddy's tripod and decided to take pictures with it.  I moved it up and down and then took my picture...

Wait, where's the camera...??? :)
