My princess shoes....and nothing else...

So I wanted to try to go potty (which is not going so well. I just sit on the potty and read or color, but no progress. Someday soon, hopefully....).  And I took my diaper and dress off to do so.  After I finished, I only put my princess shoes back off and came walking into the living room like this (hand on hip and all):

Now that I am a pro, I decided to pee-pee in the potty too!!! YEA ME!! I'm still not doing it all the time, but it's a good start, right?!

Belated Easter celebration

Since we were at Grandma and Grandpa's on Easter Sunday, mommy and daddy didn't get a chance to give me my Easter basket, so we did it today.  I loved all my presents from the Easter Bunny!

Playground at Grandma's

After the Easter egg hunt, Grandma and mommy and Annabeth and I took a wagon ride to the playground at Grandma's house. We had so much fun!!

Poo-Poo in the POTTY!!!

I had to go potty, or what is usually just me wanting to sit on the potty and draw/read, so Grandma took me.  And I actually poo-poo'd a little!!! YEA!!!!! (Grandma took my Easter dress off so I wouldn't get it in the potty, excuse my naked-ness.)

Easter at Grandma's

Today I celebrated Easter with Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Bart, Aunt Kara, Zane, Annabeth, Lincoln and Fletcher at Grandma and Grandpa's new house.  We had so much fun!  We went to church and then the Easter Bunny had come to Grandma's, so we did an egg hunt together.

I did great egg hunting and with no practice! I just jumped right in scooping up eggs. It was so much fun!!

 Don't forget the twins, well, one of them, baby Fletcher.  They stayed inside with Grandpa and celebrated.

After painting eggs, we all went outside and played.  I had so much fun, especially on the horsy!

Easter egg coloring and cookie day!

Today mommy and I colored Easter eggs and made sugar cookies.  It was so much fun!!!!

I was a big help making the cookies!  I used the rolling pin and spread the dough.  I dumped sprinkles - too well because I would dump them all out, if mommy didn't stop me.  The little red pieces I loved to dump out and eat - mommy had a hard time controlling me from doing that too.

Oh, goodness!

Oh, goodness! is my new word of the day - and it is adorable! :) I say it for anything that happens.

I also asked for Doritos and ice cream for breakfast this morning. Apparently it is my day to be super, super cute!!!

While we are here, what else is new....I love Wheels on the Bus, I sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and my alphabet, Oh, I just love to sing and dance, I play the drums and harmonica, I really love to finger paint and color with markers, I love to swing and slide outside, I love to find the moon at night, I love school buses and big trucks. Food, aside from chocolate, ice cream and cookies, I love blueberries, waffles, mac n cheese, and turkey dogs.

Oh, there's just so many things I love to do and eat. I am overall a great toddler, mommy is so greatful!

I drink from a big girl cup now too.  Mommy still uses a sippy cup when I'm walking around and in the car, but at the table, I can use a big girl cup.  Yeah!

Oh, I also have another two teeth (my fangs)!

Potty training? Well, I sure do like to sit on my little potty and the big potty, but I have yet to pee pee or poo poo in the potty. Right now, I just sit on the potty, wipe, flush and wash my hands. One of these days I'll add the important step of pee pee-ing!

I'm still in my toddler bed, which I love, but not for long! Daddy painted my new room last weekend. Once he adds the trim and switches the furniture around, I'm going to be in my big girl bed! I sure hope I like it!!!

New room!

Last weekend and today daddy worked on my new room.  I just had to help!  First daddy prepped the room to paint.  He had to take off the switch covers, which I had prior practice with a screwdriver, so I immediately wanted to help.  I did a great job, take a look:

Our next step, sanding the drywall where daddy patched a hole.  Here's the area, which is a good shot of the wall color before and my new purple wall color now. I love it!

More dress up!

Today I found my dress up clothes and I love them!  I had to put them all on and model them....what do you think?

Boo-boo

Meermaw and Granddaddy were in town visiting friends, so mommy, daddy and I met them for breakfast this morning.  After eating, we went outside and talked for a little bit.  Meermaw and Granddaddy gave me a big bag of stuffed animals and I was playing with them all.  I got a little too excited and started running and tripped....that's when it happened, my very first boo-boo, a skinned knee.  I cried and hugged my mommy.  I bled a little and then calmed down.  I survived!

Nap time today....

So mommy put me down for my nap today and I fell asleep pretty quickly.  However, after about 45 minutes, mommy heard me tapping my foot against the crib.  She thought I had awaken, but hoped I would fall back asleep.  I seemed to quieten down, so she let me be.  About an hour and a half later, she decided to check on me as I should be awake.  When she opened my door, here is what she saw:

I had climbed out of my toddler bed and was in the rocking chair reading books to myself (books were scattered all over the floor).  And to top it off, I had the IPod playing softly in the background.  A little George Jones to entertain me while I read. I suppose I never fell back asleep, or that's what mommy assumed by how many books I had read....

Foot massage

So mommy's feet were hurting and she decided to get out the foot massager.  I couldn't let her do it alone....

Zoo

Today I went to the zoo with mommy and had a blast!!  I saw zebras and lions and alligators!  My favorite was the alligators!!

Garden Time!

Daddy tilled up a garden today and I helped plant some seeds and plants.  It was so much fun and such a beautiful day!
